Hello SwiftUI friends,
Last time I wrote about my train wreck failure for my goals during 2024. You can read about them here 2024 a total failure.
New year new me right? At least I think so as I decided to be more confident about my goals for 2025. You might think that I learned something regarding the number of goals I set. And in some way this is true. I reduce one goal that I didn’t achieve in 2024 for this year, but I also made some other goals harder. I also continued with a lot of different goals even though I thought that I had too many goals for 2024. I guess you can’t teach an old dog sit hehe.
So for 2025 I decided to focus on health, coding and investing. What is the common denominator for most of them is that consistency is going to be key to achieve them.
Here are my 2025 goals:
Do at least 75 sessions at the gym
Go out and run at least 50 times
Study Spanish every day at Duolingo and finish every monthly challenge
Weigh 84kg at the end of 2025. Started the year at 89kg.
Write a diary every day on the iPhone
Write morning pages every day
Code SwiftUI at least once every day
Use AI at least once every day
Release an app to the App Store
Make first dollar in the the App Store
Read 6 books
Read 100 quarterly reports
This is a total of 12 goals, it is at least a decrease from the 14 goals I set during 2024, but there is still a lot of them. The reason for all these goals are that I think I can achieve them. Today when posting this it is February 9th. And I am in good shape to be able to complete them all and I am very focused to actually finish them this time. The only thing I haven’t started reading any book yet but summer is coming up and I have a habit of reading a lot during the vacation so I am not that worried, yet.
What do you think? Do I have to many goals or should I focus on something more business or money goals? And of course, if you have any fun goals for the year, please share.
